Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an ELISA Product Development Scientist for Animal Health.

This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assays (ELISA) specifically for animal health applications. In addition, the Scientist will generate data packages for regulatory submissions and engage in manufacturing transfer and on-market product support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of diagnostic reagents following internal processes for animal health applications;

• Optimizing existing ELISA protocols for improved performance and accuracy;

• Conducting experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results;

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes;

• Is responsible for successful transfer to manufacturing;

• Staying updated with the latest advancements in immunology, molecular biology, and assay development;

• Contributing to the improvement of diagnostic tools and solutions for the veterinary industry.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Master's degree in cell, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry or other life science related discipline with 3+ years industry experience;

• Proven track record of in vitro diagnostic kit development;

• Strong experience in immunoassays/ELISA development (> 2 years);

• Ability to work in cross functional teams / multicultural teams;

• Strong background in immunology, molecular biology, and assay development;

• Previous experience in ELISA development and optimization;

• Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation;

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams;

• Passion for contributing to the improvement of diagnostic tools and solutions for the veterinary industry.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €34 700,00–€52 025,00.
