Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Demand Management: Collaborate with sales and marketing specialists to improve sales forecast accuracy.

Manufacturing planning: Forecast production for manufacturing departments together with their planning specialists.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.

Inventory Control Procedures: Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to improve inventory accuracy, streamline processes, and minimize inventory growth.

Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing or manufacturing teams to replenish stock as needed. Forecast demand and adjust inventory levels to meet changing business requirements.

Data Analysis: Analyze sales, manufacturing and inventory data, trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize inventory and manufacturing management processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing operations, procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination of demand and supply activities and alignment with organizational goals.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve inventory management practices.

Tools and software: Consult on the implementation of strategic inventory and planning software, which helps to identify inventory replenishment strategy throughout the supply chain, provide consultations to other users, participate in the implementation of new planning tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, IT or a related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in inventory management, planning, or related roles.

  • Strong understanding of inventory management and planning principles, procedures, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems, such as ERP systems, or other inventory and planning management software.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Certification in inventory management or related fields (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.

  • IT skills (Microcoft Office, SQL programming is a plus).

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €31 500,00–€47 250,00.
