Position Summary:

The Senior Director, Sales for Laboratory Products – East Zone region, covers a wide portfolio of Laboratory Equipment and Consumable to achieve revenue growth and profitability objectives.

Job Functions and Accountabilities:

  • Leads sales team to meet or exceed annual sales targets

  • Designs strategic sales roadmap to facilitate product line growth within the region

  • Develops and leads the annual process of creating sales strategies and plans, sales forecast and projections, goals, and expenses.

  • Evaluates market conditions and the timely adjustment of sales strategy to effectively adapt to those changes.

  • Collaborates with Business Unit leadership to ensure clear communication and understanding of marketing and new product plans.

  • Leads, monitors and reports communication and business activities with external channel partners and internal divisions

  • Employ and embrace continuous improvement practices

  • Participates in the selection, hiring, coaching and mentoring of direct reports.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required in Life Science and/or other related field.

Experience Qualifications:

  • Requires 15 years experience in the life science industry

  • Role model sales leader with ability to develop a high-performance, customer focused and adaptable sales team

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen: the ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and unit analysis

  • Proven success in forming interdepartmental relationships and working in matrix environment

  • Experience with both direct and distribution selling environments is desired
