Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:

  • Run all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods.

  • Maintain efficient warehouse processes to optimize inventory management and workflow.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

  • Maintain warehouse supplies and place replenishment purchase orders as needed.

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with our quality management system.

  • Ensure SOPs and work instructions are current.

International Shipping Coordination:

  • Assist Home Office with shipping processes and documentation, including customs compliance, FDA compliance, import/export regulations, and shipping documentation.

  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers.

  • Stay updated on shipping regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance and cost optimization.

  • Resolve any shipping-related issues or delays and communicate updates to relevant team members.

Facilities Management:

  • Handle the maintenance and repair of warehouse facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility repairs, upgrades, and scheduled maintenance.

  • Develop and implement facility safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  • Work with facility service providers, such as janitorial services, security, and maintenance contractors.

Inventory Control and Management:

  • Implement inventory control systems and procedures to accurately maintain inventory levels, stock movements, and cycle counts.

  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies or potential issues.

  • Provide recommendations for inventory optimization and cost reduction.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Empower a team of warehouse staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.

  • Create a collaborative and strong team, promoting safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

  • Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment.

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and find opportunities for skill development and training.

  • Ensure team is current with all required certifications.

Vendor and Customer Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and shipping partners.

  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field a plus. Relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Experience running a warehouse with FDA approved product required.

  • 2 years minimum experience leading a warehouse team required.

  • Comprehensive understanding of customs, FDA, and import/export processes.

  • Experience with Free Trade Zone and/or Bonded warehouse a plus.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations.

  • Facilities management experience, including knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and safety protocols.

  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and other relevant software.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $70,800.00–$106,200.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
