Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as a Sr Sales Operations Analyst. The C Operations Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing our sales processes, ensuring efficiency, and driving revenue growth. This role is REMOTE based and can be based UK or EMEA

Responsibilities:

  • Determine sales operations requirements and implement strategies to support the sales team effectively

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure execution of sales initiatives

  • Act as subject matter authority and point of contact for CRM including forecast and funnel management, customer targeting and competitive market information.

  • Analyze sales data and develop actionable insights to drive performance and revenue growth

  • Support the development and implementation of sales forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes

  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop accurate sales forecasts, track progress, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Manages reporting, critical KPIs and analytics function for the commercial team. Works with Finance to improve, automate and streamline the current set of reporting metrics.

  • Effectively synthesize information from various sources including ERP Sales data, Salesforce, Showpad and other sales enablement tools

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends

  • Effectively interfaces between Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Commercial Operations and comfortable communicating insights and data findings to influence decision-making and drive action to achieve business results.

  • Monitor the implementation of compensation plans and evaluate their impact on sales productivity and revenue

  • Oversee the execution of price increases and track their impact on revenue and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3 to 5 years experience in Sales Operations, Finance or Business Analysis

  • Proven track record of successfully implementing sales operations strategies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, data visualization tools and CRM platforms, Salesforce preferred

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and convey complex information to stakeholders
