Job Description

Summary:

As a Project Manager of Sales Operations, you will lead the day-to-day execution of internal client CRM projects and act as a partner in the overall project as well as stakeholder in through to execution

Ability to work independently with strong time management by leveraging efficiency tools. You will be working in a team environment with business and technical resources as well as third party vendors. You will possess strong business relationship skills and a broad experience across a complex matrix organization. You will be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication across all of levels of the organization.

The Project Manager is expected to interact and communicate with teams across Speciality Diagostic Group (SDG). This role reports to the Director of CRM Project Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the conduit between the SDG CRM user community and the software development/technical teams through which requirements and support flow

  • Develop and collaborate with IT on full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

  • Liaise with business project stakeholders.

  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

  • Plan schedule and track; project timelines milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools.

  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.

  • Conduct post project reviews and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

  • Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited higher learning institution (preferred area of study: Business, Mathematics, Computer, )

  • Five to Eight years’ experience in a project management role supporting life sciences businesses

  • Project management skills and understanding of project management lifecycle

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of subject matter experts, managers, and executives

  • Experience with eliciting, defining, and documenting user requirements. Includes identifying gaps in requirements resolving inconsistencies, and prioritizing requirements

  • Ability to effectively lead a meeting

  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies

  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale multi-functional projects. ERP and/or CRM experience preferred.

  • Must be comfortable managing projects and timelines within a complex matrix environment

  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to effectively manage and navigate intra departmental relationships and work in assigned teams and groups as required
