This position is within the Analytical Instruments Group, Materials and Structural Analysis Division within the Electron Microscopy business unit. The Life Sciences Electron Microscopy business provides innovative electron microscopy workflow solutions for academia and industry.

As the Regional Market Development Manager, you will develop and implement the Americas regional marketing strategy in alignment with the global go-to-market plans, growth strategy and sales targets. You will work with a broad team from commercial, sales development, product, global and operational marketing to develop multi-channel marketing plans to drive revenue growth and build the opportunity funnel. This position will maintain an understanding of customer requirements for our products and applications to localize strategies for maximum effectiveness and drive marketing programs resulting in measurable impact on pipeline, revenue, and market share gains.
A Day in the life
Lead regionalization of the global marketing strategy for the Americas region and the deployment of customer-centric marketing tactics using a multichannel approach including print, digital, social, online or in-person events, and sales channels to support annual commercial goals
Partner with commercial teams to develop appropriate commercialization strategies and marketing tactics to drive growth, targeting segments that drive demand generation, pipeline health and new contacts in these segments
Ensure timely customer lead response from commercial teams and provide effective guidance to inside sales
Lead quarterly regional market development meetings to report regional marketing performance, gather input and collect local product and market trends to adjust and refine strategy to best meet regional customer and commercial team needs
Provide regional perspective, conduct customer and sales interviews to gain specific knowledge of the local market needs to refine the regional marketing message and effective sales enablement
Develop and deploy effective sales force selling tools, training and customer facing materials in collaboration with global marketing, product management and regional commercial teams
Nurture relationships with key opinion leaders and partners in the region to foster collaboration
Keys to Success
Education
BS in a life sciences field (cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, biophysics, chemistry).
Master’s, or PhD highly preferred
Experience
3+ years work experience (preferably partially in industry)Customer-centric with experience in marketing, sales, or sales support in technical / scientific products;
Experience in microscopy a plus!
Experience in developing successful lead generation programs using multi-channel strategies with ability to plan, complete and measure and ability to learn from previous campaigns to improve future performance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience working in a complex, highly matrixed organization and able to partner / influence; Strong record of building alignment in cross-functional teams
Results oriented and fast learner to oversee multiple projects' scope, and schedule to achieve timely completion
Self-motivated, demonstrates creativity and problem-solving ability with good intuition for business, proven written and verbal communication skills

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Oregon is $93,800.00–$156,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
