Job Summary

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our dedicated and driven team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering impeccable technical support and service to our valued customers. You will have the chance to work with advanced technology and make a meaningful impact on our customers' satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend customer laboratories for routine PMV’s, repair visits, installations and service meetings as and when required.

  • Provide technical support for customers and colleagues

  • Undertake fixing, support and repair within the agreed timeframes and at all times ensuring that customers are kept up to date with the progress.

  • Complete service reports in CRM and ensure they are completed fully, accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Update instruments placed at customer laboratories with software and middleware upgrades as required.

  • Provide feedback to global product teams on instrument reliability and quality.

  • At all times, ensure that quality and regulatory requirements and company policies are adhered to.

  • Participate in service and commercial meetings as and when required.

  • Input into the development of training material, support literature and technical guidance for external and internal customers.

  • Maintain the required level of product knowledge on instruments and assays to enable our customers to be successful and share that expertise with internal and external customers.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Background in electronics / biotechnology / medical devices / engineering or related

  • Previous experience in servicing analytical equipment or equivalent technical experience.

  • Customer-focused with strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers.

  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Can-do attitude with the flexibility to manage competing priorities.

  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

  • Valid Driving License

  • Willingness to travel

  • Fluency in English – both written and verbal.
