How will you make an impact?
Primary activities consist of assisting in the labeling and packaging of all manufactured products at this facility according to established procedures. Additional responsibilities consist of monitoring raw materials and performing activities efficiently within the confines of a daily master schedule.
What will you do?
Assist in daily labeling, packaging and assembly of all product lines manufactured at this facility.
Perform duties in accordance with established company procedures and policies.
Directly assist the Packaging Lead and the Labeling & Packaging Supervisor in all areas of labeling and packaging production according to schedule.
Assist in monitoring raw material inventory.
Cross train in all areas of production as requested.
Assist in inventory counts as assigned.
Assist in Dispensing as requested.
Clean and organize all packaging areas daily.
Count, record, reconcile, handle and store products in appropriate conditions.
Operate heat sealing, bagging and labeling equipment as assigned.
Report any actual or potential safety hazards to supervisor, senior management, human resources, or the safety committee.
Must participate in Kaizen and PPI events and maintain visual control boards.
Must be able to walk, sit, stand, bend, squat, reach and lift.
How will you get here?
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Prior manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
Must be able to read, write and understand spoken English.
