Role Description-

Position Overview: We are seeking a multifaceted and inclusive Sales Manager to lead all aspects of our consumable business across India, focusing on Chromatography and Mass Spec Systems. This role involves establishing and maintaining an effective distribution and dealer network and delivering technical presentations to key customers. Products include LC/LCMS Columns, GC Columns, SPE/SLE, Autosampler and Storage Vials and Closures, Syringe Filters, and Chromatography accessories.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual business plans and budgets for direct and channel partner business. Deliver agreed annual sales targets, profitability, and market share growth

  • Coach and perform sales activities on assigned accounts. Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results and identifying needs.

  • Ensure sales closure and perform operational analysis of customers.

  • Identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings. Set pricing and manage channel activities.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.

  • Establish a strong working rapport with technical/application team members to ensure customer support and technical needs are met.

  • Develop sales strategies to improve market share.

  • Launch new products and deliver technical presentations to promote product mix

  • Report monthly on competitor activities and support method development and transfer projects with the help of the application team.

Experience:

  • A science graduate, preferably with management exposure, with a minimum of 12 years of sales experience.

  • Experience in leading distribution channel networks and internal sales teams as a successful people manager.

  • Demonstrated strong career records and business insight in market and customer relations.
