Our European Engineering team is currently recruiting an Electrical and Automation Engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Main activities:

  • Support the manager in preparing the budget for electrical engineering and automation projects

  • Ensure compliance and that technical specifications are aligned with the User requirements

  • Prepare a technical /economic analysis of the offers received and communicate the preference.

  • Verify, during negotiations with suppliers / contractors, that the contract respects the assigned budget and the general work program.

  • Ensure the execution of the work is aligned with the schedule, health and safety laws, budget and according to the approved specifications.

  • Ensure optimal handover to the client, after carrying out the acceptance tests aimed at verifying compliance with the project specifications.

  • Coordinate the start-up phase of the plant and support the validation activities.

  • Verify that the documentation is complete and sufficient prior to handing over to the end user.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering

  • 3-5 years of previous experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of internal and external lighting systems (normal and emergency)

  • Knowledge of special systems (smoke and gas detection, door interlocks, access control, video surveillance, HVAC)

  • Experience with electro-instrumentation systems for the automation of process systems, HVAC, generation and distribution of fluids

  • Experience in preparation of electrical panel diagrams, electrical loads, and definition of the architecture of the plant’s electrical system (medium and low voltage)

  • Experience with tools such as Autodesk, Navisworks, Revit

  • Proficient in English both written and verbal

  • Strong communication skills and experience working within a multi-functional and variable environment

  • Flexibility to travel worldwide

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of MS Project

  • Experience in Engineering for ATEX systems

  • Construction management and coordination experience of the construction of electrical systems on site
