Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Account Manager to join our ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD) as part of our London South/East Region team. As the Laboratory Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing key account plans to drive sustained growth in our Phadiaâ„¢ allergy and autoimmunity business. Reporting to the Head of Laboratory Sales UK, Netherlands & Ireland, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to our mission of improving patient diagnostics and therapies.
Responsibilities:
Maintain existing business and drive growth in the Allergy & Autoimmune market
Achieve company and individual metrics
Develop and implement accurate and up-to-date account plans and customer details
Ensure accurate and timely logging of activities and meetings in the system
Successfully negotiate contracts, including Capital sales, Reagent Rentals, and Service Contracts
Lead the Tender response process and engage with primary Managed Service Providers (MSPs)
Participate actively in forecasting and planning activities using tools like SFDC and Power BI
Support Cost Per Reportable (CPR) customers with onsite stock checks
Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across the territory
Provide market intelligence to Sales Manager, Marketing, and Finance
Communicate effectively with all parts of the organization
Ensure compliance with internal Quality Processes and CRM
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biomedical science), or equivalent experience in the field.
Relevant Laboratory/Pathology Sales Experience and/or product Portfolio experiences
Proficiency in Salesforce
Strong communication and listening skills
Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
Collaborative individual dedicated to achieving goals
Ability to effectively build and develop customer relations and close sales in a commercial setting
Proven negotiation skills and ability to influence others
Experience of Tenders towards the NHS
Analytical skills and experience working with data
Understanding of business development principles
Strong desire for continuous development
Valid driver's license and ability to travel in the region (approximately 75% of the time)
