Our PPD® Laboratory Services team has a direct impact on improving patient health through the expertise of scientists, industry thought-leaders and therapeutic experts. Discover Impactful Work:

Performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory analyses including assays that define complicated disorders of the cardiovascular, endocrine, hematological, hemostatic, thrombolytic, and renal systems. Evaluates individual and related laboratory data, recognizes patterns or trends that suggest significance of results.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine project objectives and lead a team of technologists to successfully implement them

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize scientific processes

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify technical solutions and make recommendations

  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure flawless execution of projects

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technologists

  • Keep informed about the most recent developments in the industry and apply effective strategies.

  • Work closely with the section supervisors to ensure daily testing, regulatory compliance, and inventory counts are being performed appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualificationPrevious experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to to 5+ years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Ambitious and driven to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
