Discover Impactful Work:

The Sera Demand Planning Manager collects, analyzes, and aggregates global customer requirements into a comprehensive demand plan delivered to Supply Planning teams through E1, SFDC, and Sera Master Production Schedule. This position is responsible for leading global demand planning activities across divisions by promoting best practices and adherence to processes.

A day in the Life:

  • Enforce global sales funnel processes and incorporate statistical forecasting to develop robust demand signals for Supply Planning teams.

  • Act as conduit between Sales teams and Sera Planning to understand and prioritize customer requirements (delivery, specifications) against product availability, process capabilities, and lead time.

  • Lead Global Sera Demand Planning efforts by collaborating with regional partners and divisional business and commercial teams to incorporate current and long-term customer demand information into the forecast at the product line and SKU level, ensuring alignment with AOP and monthly financial updates.

  • Lead periodic Global Sera SIOP reviews, aligning supply and demand plans, to achieve revenue and inventory objectives

  • Deliver actionable demand plans to Supply Planning teams (Sera Planning, site Planning and Procurement) by developing and maintaining aggregate SKU level forecasts in E1 and Sera Master Production Schedule. Integrate regional requirements, NPIs, and other demand signals to create forecasts.

  • Work closely with Supply Planning to understand risks and opportunities to demand plan. Prepare performance to plan analyses and present to partners in Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Planning through regularly scheduled SIOP meetings.

  • Monitor demand plan performance (forecast accuracy) by measuring actual vs. planned performance. Prepare metrics and distribute to collaborators as feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure SKU level volume demand plan revenue aligns with business plans and financial forecast updates.

  • Work with cross-functional partners on projects such as new product launches and promotions to assimilate into demand planning assumptions.

  • Recommend and lead improvements to demand planning and SIOP processes

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 2+ years Process Improvement & implementation experience

Experience

  • 3+ years in demand planning, materials planning, or related experience

  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively across the organization and establish relationships with key partners

  • Ability to manage large amounts of data and aggregate data.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated industry

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

  • Solid understanding of ERP/MRP (JDE) and CRM (SFDC) systems(preferred)

  • Capable of working/communicating with all layers of the organization and customers

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $92,000.00–$110,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
