ThermoFisher Scientific Inside Sales Representative (Bioscience Division) in Gangnam-gu, South Korea

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • In charge of Cold call leads to introduce our wholesale program within the Biosciences Division (BID)

  • Serve the business by engaging qualified leads via phone, email, and text to create new accounts for the company

  • Ensure customers success by identifying opportunities for growth, and use company resources to introduce solutions to client’s business.

  • Build quality relationships with new and existing customers

  • Organize and manage sales funnel, client notes, and client activity in a professional fashion

  • Switching work through product consulting

  • Manage key financial result areas, i.e. revenues, volume, margins, days outstanding, consumable reagent and instrument forecasting

  • Capture new opportunities thru product consulting and internal data analysis

  • Market analysis by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

  • Achieve sales target

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and Academic/functional experience. Master’s degree will be advantageous.

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of successful sales experience in science industry. (including inside sales experience)

  • Maintain and increase current customer database through company customer relations management software. Use system completely to fulfill management expectations for recording and utilizing customer and sales information.

  • Familiarity with negotiation, upselling and other sales tactics

  • Extensive knowledge of Molecular Biology, cell biology, and Biotechnology.

  • Attain or exceed assigned sales goals, profit goals, and market share goals consistently within expense guidelines.

  • Field travel as necessary (10% or more)

  • Utilize proven organizational skills to successfully manage territory sales activities

  • Communicate account objectives and action plans to management via weekly business reviews and other communication vehicles.

  • Good computer skill (Excel, Power point...)

  • Good English Skills, both written and verbal
