Job Description

Position Summary:

The position will operate as an HR Analyst and HR Program Coordinator providing HR solutions related to workforce data analytics and HR program implementation and lifecycle management to the Clinical Diagnostics Division (CDD). The role involves using people data and analytics on a global basis to support the business to improve workforce decisions, tell the business story and impact positive business growth. He/she will design, execute, and present results from projects that will inform critical business decisions and actions impacting the talent lifecycle, including headcount and workforce planning, talent management, career development, diversity and inclusion, organizational effectiveness, engagement, company culture, and retention. This position will also assist in managing day-to-day Human Resource processes that may include: recruiting and selection, HR compliance, on-boarding, recordkeeping, employee relations, training and development, compensation, ADA issues and performance management, among others. This role will be based at the Fremont, CA site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with HR Business Partners to track, report, consult on data analysis and identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve data integrity, and the adoption of self-service reporting.

  • Work with HR Business Partners and managers to implement and lifecycle manage core HR processes including the annual performance management process, talent reviews, surveys, and training initiatives

  • Coordinate and process manage the employee life-cycle experience including new hire onboarding, staff engagement and termination activities

  • Fulfill ad hoc data and analytical requests related to compliance, projects, and HR programs.

  • Design and deliver recurring scorecards and dashboards on business performance and the effectiveness and impact of HR investments, supplementing presentations with insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders, HR business partners, and other departments (such as Finance and IT) to gain alignment on metrics and processes.

  • Collaborate with HR business partners and cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance systems and processes, and to develop innovative data-driven solutions that address business needs.

  • Identify opportunities and lead efforts to improve data integrity and employee, manager, and HR adoption of self-service reporting and analytical tools.

  • Provide HR solutions support, process knowledge, advice and consultation to the site.

  • Support project and change management related may lead or be part of a project management team to drive process improvement

  • Collaborate with HR Platforms/COE process experts to execute and implement large scale HR initiatives to deliver best-practice HR service delivery

  • Analyze data for attrition and staffing trends and make recommendations as appropriate

  • Day-to-day interface/coaching with first line supervisors and employees on employee relations

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

  • Available to work across multiple time zones due to business needs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in HR or related field,

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in a HR Generalist, HR Data Analytics or related role

  • Key skills and abilities include: coaching, influencing, facilitation, process development, analysis, presentation, time management, problem solving

  • Must possess strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite Working knowledge of EEO, Federal & State employment laws, Worker’s Comp, STD, LTD and ADA issues

  • Demonstrate the highest level of integrity and ethical behavior while maintaining confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in HR or Labor Relations

  • Consulting experience or internal company consulting role experience preferred

  • Experience within a large corporate environment

  • HR Certification
