Position Summary

The Financial Analyst will support key financial planning and analysis activities for the Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing division! They will report to the Sr. Manager Finance working together to provide finance support across the division. This is a high visibility role within the business, providing a tremendous opportunity for learning and long-term career growth. We are a fast paced, robust team looking for an addition that will help us continue to drive the Finance function forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • FP&A business support for the Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing business

  • Deliver key weekly financial reporting & insight, partnering with essential team members

  • Drive tactical objectives in support of monthly & quarterly business reviews, annual operating plans, and the planning processes

  • Support key initiatives providing vital data for deep analysis of the organization

  • Demonstrate FP&A leadership with timely, accurate, and valuable information

  • Partner cross-functionally to drive projects from planning to execution

  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes and initiatives

  • Continuously improve and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Perform special projects and ad-hoc reports and presentations as needed to support the team and senior management

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with significant coursework in finance, accounting, and/or a quantitative field

  • 1+ years’ experience in finance

  • Certifications including CPA and CFA are a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong business sense

  • Superior attention to detail while moving quickly in a fast-paced environment

  • Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of IT systems

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas orally and in writing

  • Self-reliant, problem solver with a natural bias towards continuous operational improvement

  • Understanding of finance, accounting, and impact to reporting systems

  • Consistent record of working with a diverse group of individuals

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

  • High level of intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$111,100.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
