Job Title: Channel Marketing Manager

Job Location: Lafayette, CO; Carlsbad, CA

Position Summary: The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of non-digital channel marketing strategy and execution for central portfolios within Biosciences division. This individual will be a key member of the global Biosciences Divisional Channel Marketing Team, focused on serving multiple channel entities as a “center of excellence.” The successful candidate will have the proven collaboration skill necessary to work with a broad team, across multiple businesses, departments, and geographies and to support multiple different functions within the division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of a strategy to support the Molecular Biology, Synthetic Biology and Sample Prep portfolios across global non-digital channels by understanding the unique needs of various channel audiences and regions.

  • Develop and deploy educational and training content to gain a “share of mind” with channel partners.

  • Creation and adaptation of marketing content for use in appropriate channels.

  • Collaboration with business partners and channel partners to ensure the proper voice for each of the individual channels we serve as well as consistency with brand profiles, product positioning, and company standards.

  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in area of life science or marketing.

  • 5-9 years of experience in a combination of marketing, technical sales, product or project management, or other closely related positions.

  • Proven collaboration skills working across broad functions working in a complex environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills as well as analytical, project management and planning skills necessary.

  • Strong aptitude in marketing and life sciences (Molecular Biology preferred).

  • Proficient in public speaking and training.

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with distribution networks or complex channel networks

  • Experience with digital analytics

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences

  • Self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced work environment
