We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen, currently with about 500 employees, whose “high-end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Discover Impactful Work:

As a Product Specialist in Product Management (m/w/d) Life Science Mass Spectrometry you will work closely with R&D and marketing to support product improvements and new product development for the life science mass spectrometer portfolio.

A Day in the Life:

  • Identify, document, and drive new customer requirement for instrument hardware and instrument control software according to product development process

  • Support the evaluation and validation of new products, including workflows and applications

  • Summarize trends and technology as technical tips, FAQ’s and troubleshooting guides.

  • Provide experienced analytical and technical support and collaborate with key opinion leaders

  • Collaborate with other teams within the business unit to organize comprehensive technical product training

  • Generation of scientific collaterals (brochure, application/technical notes, poster, presentations)

  • Represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at conferences, seminars, and exhibitions globally

Keys to Success:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Physics or related scientific field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven track of experience with high-resolution accurate mass LC-MS system, preferable on Orbitrap Exploris instrumentation.

  • Hands-on experience in sample preparation, LC and MS method optimizations, and comprehensive data analysis in either of the field of proteomics/intact proteins/mAb or small molecule screening/quantitation/metabolomics.

  • Demonstrate a customer-centric mentality and understand markets, trends, and competitors

  • Desire to make data-driven decisions and problems solving

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation skills in English.

  • Enjoy working within a diverse, cross-functional team across multiple sites.

  • Knowledge in requirement management is an advantage
