As a Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring profitable growth in your territory. You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships within existing accounts, develop new accounts, implement divisional strategies, and discover growth opportunities. This unique position allows you to lead the relationship between the account and Thermo Fisher Scientific, focusing on Academic and Life Sciences markets.
Responsibilities:
Identify market potential by qualifying accounts in the Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Academic, and Government sectors.
Develop relationships at all account levels to advance new growth opportunities in target markets.
Achieve business objectives, including financial objectives and compliance metrics.
Close sales by establishing rapport with potential accounts, explaining the value proposition, and overcoming objections.
Expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services.
Work with the Technical Support Services (TSS) team to better support the account needs.
Forecast sales, build pipeline, negotiate sales conditions, and coordinate with all support and functional departments related to the sales team and organization.
Requirements:
Proven experience in sales or a related field.
Degree in biology, chemistry or related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of the Academic and Life Sciences markets.
Knowledge of Sample preparation, cell biology, cell analysis, and Molecular biology.
Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
