Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Technician II to join our world-class manufacturing team in Birmingham. As a Manufacturing Technician II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless production of our innovative products.
Responsibilities:
To work within the team primarily focusing on manufacture and in process testing i.e. in-vitro diagnostic devices.
To ensure that allocated equipment is maintained, and all manufacturing processes are followed using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and any in-process testing is carried out in accordance with the required protocols.
To support other areas of the business when required, to help ensure the delivery of products to the required Quality, Right First Time, On Time and in full.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to determine root causes of technical issues
Motivated individual with a strong desire to consistently enhance processes
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
