Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Power Platform Quality Engineer to contribute significantly to transforming our Quality Management System (QMS) processes with digital solutions to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Power Platforms to support the QMS with a strong focus on Human Factor Engineering (HFE)
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements for digital systems, QMS processes, and record integrity
Run multi-site digital projects to improve the robustness, efficiency, and effectiveness of the QMS
Maintaining datasets to ensure applications are up to date
Maintain and improve automated workflows to ensure seamless process operations.
Develop and maintains the procedures associated with the workflows
Digital Practical Process Improvement (dPPI)
Promoting high-quality practices and ensuring the use of effective problem-solving methods to identify, prioritise, communicate, and resolve quality issues found within QMS processes.
Maintain accurate quality documentation.
Work closely with diverse business partners (end users) to ensure development of effective HFE digital processes
Do root cause analysis for QMS process failures and apply sound logic to digital solutions
Leverage AI tools and machine learning capabilities to enhance decision-making, automate tasks, and strengthen predictive quality insights
Requirements:
Proven experience in software engineering (PowerApps, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Python) preferably within a Quality Management System
Flawless attention to detail and a passion for world-class quality
Strong drive and the ability to effectively implement digital solutions
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Forward-thinking digital leader focused on innovation, efficiency, and user-centred solutions
Familiarity with LLM AI integration in digital platforms and automated workflows
