Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Market Development Manager to join our world-class Marketing team in Carlsbad. As a Market Development Manager, you will play an instrumental role in driving the growth and success of our organization.

Agribusiness is a vertical segment focused business within qPCR/GSD group within the Life Science Group (LSG). The Agribusiness portfolio includes solutions for Animal Diagnostics and Agricultural genotyping for plants and animals. Our focus is helping to ensure a safe and plentiful food supply globally.

We are looking for a result driven and innovative Global Market Development Manager to help build and implement marketing strategies and programs for all of the Agribusiness product lines. The ideal person will be passionate about science and customer-centric marketing. This individual believes understanding users and their needs not only allows us to better serve them, but is critical. This is an exciting and very focused market that requires dynamic and adaptable marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to enhance customer engagement and expand market presence.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and trends

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative strategies to promote our products and services.

  • Oversee and enhance marketing budgets to achieve optimal return on investment (ROI)

  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in marketing strategy development and execution

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $101,000.00–$145,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
