Job Description

Job Summary:

The primary function of this position is to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the ongoing training program of the manufacturing operations facilities. Using existing knowledge of our manufacturing processes, the incumbent develops department's training requirements and establishes a training program to ensure that all newly hired employees receive effective, consistent onboarding training. Responsibilities include the fulfillment and maintenance of the training schedule for every newly hired manufacturing employee, as well as the maintaining the training data integrity to ensure compliance; evaluate and measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the training program.

--establishing standards and making recommendations for the most efficient use of resources needed for training.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

--Plan, coordinate, develop and implement a comprehensive training program to provide new employees with current techniques and information relative to their assignments.

--Establishes, implements, and evaluates overall training program for efficiency.

--Determines departmental training requirements and establishes corresponding training schedules per employee.

--Develops and maintains a comprehensive scheduling document to schedule employees for onboarding training.

--Monitor team compliance with the use of the training aids and testing and update as needed.

--Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease employee turnover, standardize work processes, and work as a team to provide quality training programs.

--Promote data-driven decision making in areas of responsibility.

--Help build a strong culture of Safety and Quality!

--Help with onboarding tasks and support and connection with the new teams

Other Job Requirements:

Willing to go to any shift for extended periods of time to train associates on all shifts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

There are no direct supervisor in this position, but this individual will need to influence and work with individuals at all levels.

Required Experience & Skills:

--Minimum two years experience manufacturing required.

--Minimum one year experience training, coaching and mentoring employees in the processes of manufacturing and/or warehousing.

--Understanding of the principles and methods of training, training program development and training program evaluation methods.

--Proficient understanding and experience in the implementation/participation and use of PPI (Practical Process Improvement), ISO compliance as it relates to required trainings and record maintenance, JSR and other safety requirements, TQC's and other quality standards, and hands-on SOE (Sequence of Events) implementation and other efficiency standards.

--Must have proficiency skills with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

--Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, on both technical and nontechnical matters required.

--Ability to mentor others in the manufacturing setting, as well as in a classroom setting.

--Ability to produce written documents with clearly organized thoughts using accurate English sentence construction, punctuation, and grammar.

--Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Education requirements:

--High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
